DR. SARAH GAUTHIER

Psychologist, PsyD

Throughout our lifetime, we experience difficulties and struggles that can feel overwhelming. My clients experience low mood, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and at times trauma; sometimes they have found ways to manage their distress through self-harming or disordered eating behaviors. These struggles also impact family life, relationships and education or work. I work in a compassionate and motivated manner to understand each individual's unique experience and to develop a therapeutic approach that enhances skills and coping. I draw from a range of approaches to create a therapeutic plan that is unique to each person.

Childhood and teenage years can be particularly challenging and whilst therapeutic work is usually individual appointments, I also work with parents and families to further enhance and embed skills development and coping styles. Developing a shared written understanding, or formulation, with each client is at the heart of my therapeutic work.

Having worked in the U.K for much of my professional life I offer a fresh perspective on difficulties experienced throughout the different life stages

DR. REVA O' HALLARN

Psychologist, PsyD

Many of my clients struggle with the painful issues of anxiety, depression (including postpartum depression), loss, trauma, or health problems. Many also are dealing with significant life changes and stressors. In a compassionate, gentle manner, I listen to their stories, empower them to use their strengths, and help them learn ways to cope with their situations and feelings.
I work with my clients on helping them identify and change thought patterns that may contribute to their sadness, fear, and frustration. Because each person is unique, with his/her own perspective, background, and personal qualities, I work carefully with each client to tailor treatment to the individual.
